A visit to Samtskhe-Javakheti allows you to immerse yourself in history and culture and learn more about the important events that took place in this region. The region amazes with its rich cultural and historical heritage and architectural landmarks. Following the tour program, you will first visit the ancient capital, the heart and soul of the country, without which it is impossible to imagine Georgia. And in the second part of the excursion we will go to Borjomi through a picturesque gorge and wonderful coniferous mountain forests, which you can admire endlessly. Itinerary:  Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Borjomi - Tbilisi

Trip to Mtskheta - The ancient city-reserve, which is about 4000 years old, is listed as a UNESCO heritage site. One of the most significant cities in Georgia with a rich history associated with cultural and religious events. The capital of the ancient Georgian state of Iberia, played a key role in shaping the culture and history of the country.

Visit to Jvari - Georgian monastery, one of the masterpieces of architecture, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Jvari (literally "cross") is located on the top of a mountain at the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi - where the first Christian cross was erected by Saint Nino. From the observation deck of the monastery, a stunning view of the city of Mtskheta opens up.

Visit to Svetitskhoveli - An ancient shrine and spiritual center of Georgia, stands majestically on the banks of the Kura River, as a guardian of ancient traditions and faith. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it holds the most important Orthodox relics: the chiton of the Lord, the font of King Mirian, a particle of the relics of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the robe of the prophet Elijah, the relics of the holy Georgian kings.

Visiting Samtavro Monastery - The monastery is an important and remarkable monument from a historical and cultural point of view. From this holy place, Saint Nino preached the righteousness of Christ to the Georgian people. Here the Georgian Christian faith and self-awareness were born. Samtavro houses Christian relics - the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, the relics of the elder Gabriel Urgebadze.

Trip to Borjomi. Modern Borjomi is one of the popular resorts in Georgia, which is suitable for ecotourism and family vacations. Its convenient location in the beautiful mountains of the Lesser Caucasus attracts all year round with its landscapes, the opportunity to relax and improve your health. The resort overcomes the boundaries of time and space. Its water, soaked in legend, travels around the world, bringing with it not only the taste of natural purity, but also the ancient wisdom of the Georgian people.

Visit to Borjomi City Park. The Central Park is famous for its main hot mineral water source in the city. The park was built in a gorge – in its widest place. Clean air, abundance of vegetation and shady areas, and the presence of attractions make it attractive to visitors. The main alley of the Central Park stretches along the Bordjomula River, which flows here, with bridges installed over it.

Visiting the pools with natural mineral water. Thermal pools are the final point of the walking route through Borjomi Park. You can reach them on foot along a pleasant path along the river. The water entering the pools is cloudy, has a somewhat specific smell and has an analgesic effect. The temperature in the pools is about 32-38 °C. Thanks to the comfortable temperature of the water, you can spend a long time in it.

Visit to the Romanov Palace in Borjomi (Likani). The building is made in the exotic Moorish style, which is distinguished by oriental motifs, rich decorations and the difference of each of the facades. The Summer Residence is the keeper of unique historical treasures. Its history from construction to the present day reflects the grandeur and changes of time.

Visit to the Green Monastery.  One of the amazing places in Georgia, imbued with spirituality and natural beauty. This monastery, also known as the Monastery of St. George, is located in the picturesque valley of the Kura River, surrounded by dense forests and mountain peaks. The monastery was founded in the 9th century and has since been an important spiritual and cultural center of the region. Its green domes and walls blend beautifully with the surrounding nature, creating a majestic view.
