Asureti (Elisabethtal) (Georgian: ასურეთი (ელიზაბეტთალი)) – The German settlement is an important site from a historical, cultural and architectural point of view. A significant part of the presented buildings, is included in the list of monuments of cultural heritage of Georgia. A visit to the village provides a unique opportunity to delve into the glorious past of the German colony, to feel the atmosphere of 200 years ago.
The local German cultural heritage mainly consists of residential houses. Most houses have a wine cellar. Foodstuffs (wheat, corn, seeds, ham, fruit) were stored in the attic. The houses have a balcony on the front and side, often with a decorated railing. In addition to residential homes, in the village survived: Evangelical Lutheran Church, Public House, Winery designed by German engineers, Potato warehouse, Two-story village bathhouse, German cemetery with tombstones unique for Georgia.
