Jvari (literally "cross") is located on the top of a mountain at the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers - where the first Christian cross was erected by Saint Nino. The temple symbolizes not only the Christian faith, but also represents an architectural symbol of the heavenly Jerusalem on earth. The observation deck of the monastery offers a stunning view of the city of Mtskheta.

Visit to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral- An ancient shrine and spiritual center of Georgia, stands majestically on the banks of the Kura River, as a guardian of ancient traditions and faith.
