Visa requirements In Georgia

Citizens of the former USSR and EU countries do not require a visa to enter Georgia.
At the same time, the period of stay in the country cannot exceed 360 days per year.
When crossing the border, it is necessary to present a passport valid for the whole period of stay in the country.
notarized parental consent for the export of a minor child, car documents, insurance policy.

Foreign citizens of other countries may enter the country or transit through its territory only if they have entry visas to Georgia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, diplomatic missions and consular offices of Georgia abroad shall make a decision on issuance of short-term electronic visa to Georgia, after submission of the relevant visa application.

Short-term e-visa of Georgia is issued after submission of visa application using a special page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia https://www.evisa.gov.ge.

Persons who have any marks in their passports indicating that they have visited Abkhazia or South Ossetia will be refused entry into Georgia.
The entry of foreigners into Georgia directly through South Ossetia and Abkhazia is prohibited – in this case the Georgian authorities regard such entry as illegal, with all the consequences that this entails.
