Gudauri Ski Resort (Georgian: სამთო-სათხილამურო კურორტი გუდაური) – An amazing corner of the Caucasus – modern and actively developing ski resort Gudauri is located on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range at an altitude of more than two kilometers. Thanks to the magnificent snowy expanses of the Cross Pass leading from the River Terek(Tergi) (Georgian: თერგი) valley to the river Aragvi (Georgian: არაგვი) valley and magnificent sunny weather during the whole skiing season, Gudauri is the most popular place in Georgia among skiers.
All slopes of the Gudauri ski resort, the total length of which is more than 20 km, are tested and certified by the International Ski Federation (Fédération Internationale de Ski, FISThe slalom, giant slalom, giant slalom, super slalom and downhill slopes are assigned the following standards according to European criteria. There are routes of all difficulty categories at the disposal of athletes – from “green” slopes suitable even for beginner skiers and snowboarders to “black” slopes of high difficulty level, requiring sharpened edges of skis and skills of downhill skiing on icy slopes
