Enguri Dam (Region of Samegrelo)
Enguri Dam (Georg. ენგურის კაშხალი) – unique hydraulic structure, which is considered one of the highest in the world. But tourists love to visit it not only because of its impressive size, but also because of its interesting appearance and surrounding nature. The Enguri dam can be safely called one of the most beautiful in the world, and all thanks to the mountain landscapes surrounding it. The Enguri River flowing here forms a deep turquoise lake. Charming landscapes have long attracted tourists, so a few years ago, it was decided to improve the tourist infrastructure near the dam.
The developed tourist route near the Enguri dam allows you to get acquainted with the architectural and technological advantages of the object, as well as admire the picturesque views of nature. The implementation of this project turns this location into a new center of international tourism. Thanks to this route, visitors can visit even those places that were previously closed to the general public. It should be noted that the route provides an opportunity to admire the picturesque views of nature, climb the panoramic elevator to a height of 280 meters, ride the cable car, get an adrenaline rush from the zipline descent, and also go on a boat trip.
