Tbilisi Botanical Garden (Georg. თბილისის მოტანიკური ბაღი) – real oasis in the very center of Tbilisi. This is a place that will save you from the heat in the summer, at any time of the year from the city noise and give you a pleasant experience. There are many coniferous plants, a waterfall with a small font and many flowers. 3500 species of plants, rich collections of flora from different regions of Georgia and the world, tropical greenhouses and plants listed in the Red Book are collected here.

The history of the garden begins in 1636. Then in this territory there were three gardens that belonged to the royal court. Over the next decades, the garden was significantly expanded and transformed, replenished with new plant species. Tbilisi Botanical Garden attracts thousands of visitors every year. Here it is pleasant to walk in the shade of spreading trees, ride bicycles, enjoy the refreshing coolness of the waterfall. From the Botanical Garden, you can easily get to the Narikala Fortress, the Abanotubani district and other attractions of the city center.
